MSME Industry cluster specific events across 60 towns

In one of the most successful event series, HostIndia Events conceptualized & executed MSME target Industry Cluster Events across 60 towns. These included Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns across India. The events also covered about 120 Industry verticals. It was a Dell India event series in association with their partners Microsoft, Intel, VMWare and the likes.

The events were held targeting MSME clusters as varied as Diamond, Leather, Garments, Bicycles, Granite, Motors, Auto-accessories. The series covered south, west, north, east and central India. HostIndia Events team identified target industry clusters, carried out extensive research on the database, tied up with the local associations. Besides fetching quality audience acquisition, the team also provided a suitable event venue, event set up, logistics for each of the events.

Dell experts-led discussions helped IT Managers and Heads of Businesses to get an overview of Dell Solutions Portfolio. It helped them understand how one should develop a sustainable roadmap for IT Infrastructure to meet the business demands with controlled IT investments. The key objective of the event was to present Dell as the Technology solution provider, a shift from its earlier positioning as a PC company.

The highlights

HostIndia Events’ successful Audience acquisition and over 120 industry cluster associations tie-up were the highlights and key differentiators of the series. Dell continued the series for multiple quarters as the response for the event and the leads generated were unprecedented. The series produced leads and business conversions from MSME, SME and emerging markets during the events and even thereafter.

Elecrama Exhibition Visitor Footfall drive

HostIndia Events supported the prestigious ELCRAMA 2014 event held in Bangalore, India in multiple service spaces. The most significant service that HostIndia provided for the show was exhibition visitor footfall drive or tradeshow visitor acquisition. The activity also included a massive database profiling exercise pre-event.

Going by the number of exhibitors, the size of the exhibition and the visitor numbers, Elecrama is one of the top 5 Trade fairs that take place in India. While the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association, IEEMA, manages the entire show, HostIndia Events managed a massive campaign for exhibition visitor footfall drive. HostIndia events also supported the Elecrama Events’ Management team with the Senior Event Management professionals, Elecrama Registration Management staff, VIP Transportation support, Golf Carts on hire and the likes.

Exhibition Visitor Footfall Drive

HostIndia Events turned around a huge chunk of the database within weeks and provided progress reports on a daily basis. A multi-touchpoint reach-out program to drive visitor footfall was planned. HostIndia deployed a large tele team, email, online & mobile marketing campaigns to cover the list of prospective visitors from across India. Best of the strategies and integrated marketing communication techniques were employed. The trade show was a huge success ever in terms of exhibitor participation and visitors. The visitor turnout at the tradeshow was a record. Post-event, organisers of the show issued appreciation certificate to HostIndia Events & Marketing Pvt. Limited.

Fortis Senior citizen card launch

Fortis Group of Hospitals, Bangalore conceptualised a senior citizens privilege card called Seniors First Card as their marketing initiative. The privilege card would provide senior citizens from the neighbourhood with many special privileges. The card was ready for the launch and a large convention centre was booked as the venue. HostIndia Events were appointed as the Events company for the project with two key tasks. Firstly, Senior citizens audience acquisition for this healthcare product launch event. Secondly, managing the event plan and logistics to suit the Senior citizen audience.

HostIndia chalked out a quick and robust plan for senior citizens audience acquisition. The reach-out program was planned to target RWAs, apartments, residential colonies and recreation clubs. The reach-out programs were to be held in proximity to the Fortis Hospital branches. The database was researched, built and profiled for a professional tele campaign reach-out and registrations. Multilingual tele professionals to address senior citizens well were appointed in the response management cell. The registration help desks were set up at RWAs. An entertainment program best suitable for senior citizens was finalized and publicised in the neighbourhood.

The event was a grand success with over 700 senior citizens between the age of 60 to 95 attending the event. Senior citizens collected the Seniors First Card which was issued onsite. A thematic launch of the Card was arranged with the help of a Yakshagana skit, which was liked by the audience. Celebrity Actor-Dancer Shobana and Team performed for the Senior Citizens. All in all, it was one of the greatest event case studies ever as it included the challenging task of senior citizens audience acquisition and managing.

Texas Instruments’ MCU Design Contest Event

This engineering contest event management was aimed at inspiring and challenging top design engineers across the country, to demonstrate their skills and innovation to drive the future of electronics. This Texas Instrument’s contest enabled the participants to win prizes worth 4 Lakhs and provided opportunities for showcasing their designs to potential investors. The three-phase contest involved contestants developing designs incorporating TI controllers.

The contest was divided into 3 phases

Phase 1 – Contestants were asked to plan a project using TI Microcontrollers and submit the papers online within the stipulated time period.

Phase 2 – 50 out of 300+ papers were selected. Post selection the 50 teams were asked to submit a video of their working project with an introduction.

Phase 3/Finals – Out of 50 shortlisted teams, 10 teams were selected to the final round to compete amongst themselves at the national finals of the competition.

This engineering contest event management was handled by HostIndia Events end to end. We designed communication, e-DMs, online registration pages to begin with and the team promoted the event with help of quality database and aggressive Tele & email campaigns. HostIndia Events relentless effort helped manage 500+ participants for Phase – 1. HostIndia Events rigorously continued its campaign and followed up to phase-2 & 3 and managed the event’s logistics at the Grand Finals.

TI MCU Design Challenge was not just a successful event but one of the most satisfying events for the HostIndia team as well.
